January 13, 2022

Unfortunately, the persistent restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic do not allow any alternative than running PerCom 2022 as a fully virtual event, including all its co-located events.

Detailed logistics information will be provided in the coming days on the PerCom website. Stay tuned!

The TELMED workshop will be held in conjunction with 2022 IEEE International Conference on Pervasive Computing and Communications (PerCom 2022) that will be a hybrid physical/virtual event. The boundary between the two modalities will be defined based on the pandemic conditions worldwide.

Pisa is a medium town (100k residents) and distances can be easily visited on foot. Moreover, there is a public bus service covering all the town. The easiest way to find bus connections is to explore Google Maps, that embeds bus stops and bus line indications.

By plane
The Galileo Galilei International Airport of Pisa has daily connections with Milan, Rome, London, Paris and many other Italian and European cities. Alitalia and many low-cost airlines have daily flights to and from Pisa Airport.
From the airport, you can reach the CNR campus by:

  • Taxi (recommended): in about 20 minutes.
  • Bus "LAM ROSSA" line reaches the Pisa Central Train Station in about 15 minutes (for directions from the station to CNR, see the "By Train" section).

By car
You can plan your route with Google Maps with the following address

via G. Moruzzi 1
56124 Pisa, Italy

Parking is available.

By train
Pisa's Central Train Station is connected to major cities in Italy and Europe by way of the Florence, Turin-Genoa, and Rome routes.

From the station, the CNR campus can be reached by:

  • Taxi: in about 15 minutes
  • Bus "LAM VERDE" line, "Pratale" direction. The stop is "Volpi-CNR". When you get off the bus, walk down towards the little roundabout, turn right for Via Moruzzi, find the CNR campus entrance at your right. You've arrived!
